MEGU

I went to a Japanese restaurant called Megu to celebrate my friend's birthday. I heard this is a very fancy restaurant so I went online and searched for their reviews. Their overall rating had four stars. wow.... I was really looking forward to this dinner.

When I stepped in the restaurant, one thing that caught my eyes was the Buddha ice sculpture. The Buddha is in the center of the restaurant and there's a red candle in the front. It is really amazing that the ice can last that long. I wonder if they make a new one each day.

Two of my friends ordered a cocktail called blessing and I ordered a green tea.

Complimentary from the chef.

"New Tokyo" white miso clam chowder. tasted like hot dog...

Edamame Soup.

very big and juicy deep fried oyster

Hamachi "shabu shabu style"

Yummy Yummy uni

My favorite lamb chops

hot stone grilled Kobe sirloin and tuna steak. Delicious !

We did not order any dessert because I made my friend a birthday cake. It's a Japanese style green tea cheese cake.
